Harbour International School (H.I.S.) was established in the year 2020 to transform and impact lives, through the means of accessible yet quality and purposeful international education, to the community of Dehradun, India. In a local context of school saturation, where education is merely a grade acquisition ladder, H.I.S. brings in the eternal perspective, values and purpose, with a holistic approach to nurture and develop each individual to accomplish their God-given potential. With a rising demographic of parents seeking education that drifts away from the traditional education models, H.I.S. uses best educational practices and strategies to provide meaningful experiences to inspire students towards a love for life-long learning. 

 

H.I.S. diminishes the lines of nationalities by being a place of belonging for people from across the world, allowing them to exchange a global culture of diversity within a warm and loving environment that recognizes this trait as a representation of His body. 

MISSION


The prime goal of Harbour International School is to effectively leverage its resources, opportunities, platforms, and influence to be a life-changing encounter for the local communities through education. H.I.S. strongly believes in God’s desire for an abundant life in Him for everyone. H.I.S. is committed to serving people within the broad rails of education and enriching the lives of individuals by bringing in expertise, diversity, quality and excellence through our service. In the midst of a stagnant traditional educational environment, H.I.S. wants to be at the forefront of a change the system needs in order to play the long game of community and social transformation for the Kingdom. 


In alignment with the founder’s vision, the staff works hard to make H.I.S. a place where individuals are equipped, transformed, restored, and created to be their true best selves. 

Faith/Leadership


David is convinced that great leadership is the redirection of people towards the eternal purpose of their life, within their current context. The central theme of David’s life, ‘Living a life of love,’ stems from his faith, conviction, and experience of his Father’s love, which only influences his leadership to first be about people, in all aspects of their life. This mindset allows David to see leadership as a privilege to serve rather than to be served. The genuine life transformation mission of H.I.S. through education can only be achieved by His work of renewing minds, and through the leadership of submission to Him.
